A rare bronze "Dou" and cover. Late Warring states/early Western Han
dynasty. The vessel stands on a circular foot and has two ring handles,
one on each shoulder. The cover is surmounted with an indented, circular
attachment.
Both the main body of the vessel and the cover have a series of
decorated bands.
Excellent patina.
Height: 22 cm, width 21 cm.
